F80 M3 / F82 M4 Wheel Offsets (ET) and Sizes

18" 513M
front = 8.92kg (19.6lbs)
rear = 9.44kg (20.8lbs)

19" 437M
front = 10.4kg (22.9lbs)
rear = 10.6kg (23.4lbs)

In theory, E46 M3 Style 67s should work too for winter use.. I found a good deal on 'em on eBay so I'm bidding on them.

The fronts would use a 15mm spacer I presume.. And the rear should be fine. The rears will be slightly more aggressive and the fronts would be tucked in, so it'd look a little goofy but using them for winter use.. I guess I don't care.

According to TireRack data, tires weigh in at 24lbs for 255s and 27lbs on 275s.

I think I would tend to believe Southlight's specs posted above, which are about a pound more per wheel, at least until you can measure a bare wheel.

I have read carefully and found out that there is no BBS LMR/LMS/RSGT wheel that can fit the vision of my car.. I was hoping to get something like 19x10/19x11 set up.. but dont think so... so.. im lookin at 19x9.5/19x10 set up? Looks weird ? or just square set up with spacers?...

I dunno.. anyone with BBS and is an expert that can help me out or recommend the spec I should get? I'd like to get staggered look and I dont want 20s, as they are too big and too easy to break considering the road conditions in my area.

I do plan to lower it with H&R first or wait for more info from KW. I also do have M adaptive suspension option. Not sure if it matters.

PS. I have F80.

Thanks for providing the link, but it seems the calculator is busted...

I entered stock rear 19s into the system and asked for 11inch wide with ET40 with 295/35/19, but the rolling diameter does not change anymore if I was to change the width of the rim again with the same 295mm wide tires. Any idea?

Don't think this had been posted; the wheels (at least 19s) appear to be manufactured by Fuchs in Germany, as were the E92's, based on the hallmark on the back ("Fuchs" is German for Fox). Fuchs is a longtime OEM manufacturer for BMW and Porsche. They also market Porsche wheels directly. They appear to utilize an 8,000T forge which you can see on the second link.

FUCHS also makes a retro wheel for new 911's in very large diameter sizes. 19's, 20's and 21's. I remember seeing a set of these wheels(just the wheels) for something like 6K euros!!

So does anyone know why we were left with a "weak" / conservative offset in the rear for the new F8X cars? If anything that just tells me they really dumbed down the fender flares (I feel that's what made the e46 m3 so special, the delta between a regular 3 and m3 is so extreme on the road). Delta between 435i and M4 seems to be close to nill... but then again the 4 was a "widened" 3 coupe to begin with (following in Audi's footsteps w/o a doubt)... perhaps there was little more performance gains to be had by sticking a wider track with blistered fenders?

They are only like 1lb per wheel more than zcp in 19. I doubt you would notice that.

Forgive me if this has been answered already, but I'm new to the Bimmerverse, and I can't seem to find what the lug size is for the M4. I'm planning on ordering new extended lugs before my F82 arrives, and I want to make sure I order the correct size.

Lug diameter is 14mm. Vendors can supply the correct length based on spacer thickness.

The reason I was wondering is because I plan on getting a set of open-ended lugs whenever I get new wheels for the F82 in the future, and I had a particular brand in mind, but they only seem to have 12x1.25 and 12x1.5 available.

So what specifically is the size for the M4 lugs? 14x?
