Still not a bad thing for owners of a GTS. You show the car, have a few beers and take the $$$$, works for me!

Probably two 'gotta have it regardless of price' types, for sure. The thing is, even though that may be the case, it is now a reference point for an actual sale. For someone who is researching a purchase right now, those $95-100k cars out there for sale may seem like a bit of a bargain.

Believe there was also a car re-run through auction:

3/27/21 $76,000 17,078 4.0 6GT/A Gray Southeast Nashville

I think it is the same car that was sold for $74k with 17,075 miles on 3/10/21.

There is one that just appeared today on cars.com with the same exact mileage for $119,000.
Nice margin if it sells, even at $90,000 to $95,000.

Wow. I really hope this sells for six figures. Makes me feel better about putting miles on my car and it maybe holding value a bit better.

But still gonna drive the heck out of mine even if this thing sells for half of asking price.

Still technically is low mileage for a 4 - 4.5 year old vehicle, just not as low as some out there.

I think that dealer is looking for a sucker though. Car has ceramics swapped out and is set up for heavy track use.

If that particular car goes for 6 figures, I think you'll see the market flooded with cars that people would otherwise hold.

General accepted miles per year on a marquee luxury/sports car like a GTS is around 1 to 2k per year.

That's not really how it works. There's no "generally accepted" norms, and if such a figure exists, it's much more on an overall mileage basis.

For example, in the Ferrari world, "high mileage" is generally anything over 30k miles. But that equates to <1k miles per year for a 1986 Testarossa and 4k miles per year for a 2013 458.

Another example is the 2005-6 Ford GT - there are distinct valuation "tiers" based on mileage (<100 miles, <1000 miles, 1k-5k miles, 5k-10k miles, 10k-30k, miles, 30k+ miles). You can convert those to an annual mileage basis, but it's not really how the cars are valued.

The GTS, of course, is not a Ferrari or Ford GT, it's a track day M4, so if anything, the pricing/mileage mental model should be based on something like a GT3. Again, "high mileage" for something like a 991.1 GT3 is probably between 30k-40k miles (4k to 5k miles per year).

I am surprised no one has grabbed the one on Cars.com (Lexus of Cerrito) for $87,878 with 5665 miles.
Seems like a good deal now...
Tempting...

Indeed. It's looked good to me since February. LA area, have to wonder if it doesn't show in person as well as pictured. Plenty must have taken a look by now.

Looks like the lowest priced car currently out there is $92,900.

Only four listed below $100k now.

$82k, 3800 miles, comes with GT4 carbon racing seats

WBS4S9C55GK578710

I remember that the very last one off the production line is usually a collectors item, but what about the very first one?

Car has been for sale for a long time. Actually looks like a great value right now since it is *by far* the cheapest GTS currently listed in the US.

We can have a discussion for hours on miles per year or overall. My point was 17k miles on a GTS is indeed high mileage.
