I figured they would adjust the steering ratio to make it so users didn't have to do a standard full rotation to turn the car and that's how they were going to get away with it. How it is now Im pretty shocked this was allowed as well.

I've seen two convertibles recently, the front plate does not help one bit.

Honestly it would drive my up the wall not being able to rest my arm on top of the steering wheel But then again a Tesla is not something I'd buy, just hope others won't follow this fool. |

This is a half ass take from Motor Trend. The yoke's design keeps your hands at 9 and 3 o'clock (where they should be), and it feels nice. Except 9 and 3 occurs on and above the center wheel divide, not below. No one holds 9 and 3 below the divide on a standard wheel. In a proper 9 and 3 position, there is regular interaction between thumb, index, other fingers above the divide. It's a point of coordination. With this design the arms are at an incorrect downward angle and four fingers, or the entire fist, is pulling/pushing up against the center divide for control? That's just stupid. If they wanted to do something racy, then a proper wheel design with thumb holes. No yoke or yoke hand positioning used here.

Officials at the Nürburgring have announced that a corner will be renamed in honour of Sabine Schmitz, who lost her battle with cancer earlier this year.
The first corner on the Nordschleife – a left-hander after turning off the Grand Prix circuit – will now be known as the Sabine-Schmitz-Kurve. An official inauguration will take place at the six-hour race of the Nürburgring Endurance Series on 11 September. Sabine of course won the Nürburgring Endurance Series when it was known as VLN back in 1998, because of course she did. Now generations will know the Queen forever |

Like several others have said - I truly hoped the G80 would be great, as I've loved BMWs for decades, specifically the M3. No matter how hard I try, I can't get past the aesthetics… it's just a complete failure to me. Un-cohesive, bloated, and aggressive in a clownish way. I would never spend +$80k on a car and not be able to look back at it every time I park it and smile. I often look back twice at my F80. I have not talked to a single person at our local cars and coffee that actually likes the exterior design… I figured there would be at least someone, I usually talk to a fair number of new people each week… nobody. I stared at and sat in the black G82 at my local dealer for nearly 90 minutes while I waited for recall work done on my old 335i… it only got uglier as more time passed. Sure the dark color makes it look less terrible, but is that really what it's come to… dark colors to make it look "less terrible"?! I work hard for my money, I could never spend it on that abomination. I'm sad that's the case.

Ok, so I know I'm weird cos I like Bangle Butt BMWs, but them G8x bois in that front page thread calling the Alfa Giulia "outdated" and "dull" is funny.

I saw that, I can get the interior comments (although its honestly perfectly fine to sit in) but the exterior comments are pretty ironic, especially the one comment saying they couldn't get use to the front end

Mods probably thought it was too political due to the California comments.
