Code park distance control to come on automatically
Newer BMWS pdc turns on when pulling into spaces. My 2016 will only turn on if I reverse. Anyway to code this behavior?

Manual says this:
Switching on/off Switching on automatically With the engine running, engage lever in position P R. Automatic deactivation during forward travel The system switches off when a certain driving distance or speed is exceeded. Switch the system back on if needed. With front PDC: switching on/off manually Press button. ▷ On: the LED lights up. ▷ Off: the LED goes out. Car is at shop for 30k maintenance, so will have to test when it gets back.

No, it doesn't, but I can also trigger pdc/cameras at low speed by pressing the park button, so maybe I can code.

I only have PDC/cams on if car rolls back via Bimmercode.
Bimmercode also let me increase distance travelled + speed before cameras shut off. It would also be nice to have the side view cameras activate upon turn signal. |
