Ultimate Care +1 Refundable?

It is looking like I am going to be getting out of my m3 unfortunately due to some life changes. When I purchased it last year, I got the Ultimate Care +1 on it as I was expecting to have it at least 4 years if not longer. Does anyone know if like other warranty plans this is refundable? I am not past the standard maintenance period (<1 year old and <10k miles currently). If so, is that something I contact BMWNA to initiate?

Thanks.

I thought it was transferable (assuming you aren’t trading in the car) to a new buyer. I’m considering getting an extended warranty once I’ve had a year with the car.

Isn't there a contract with terms and conditions?

Not sure about BMW but I've sold cars at Nissan and Toyota, usually are able to cancel extended warranties and such. They get pro-rated. Obviously dealer would try to say something like you cant cancel cuz they'll get what is known as a charge back
But I'm sure you can cancel..

You have 60 days to cancel it if it was never used, unless you live in a state like CA, then it can be prorated. Details below:

PSA: BMW maintenance plans, second owners, beating the system (very cheap service!) https://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1608357

Excellent details and note. Since I was in California at the time of purchase, I should be entitled to a pro-rated refund.

Safe-Guard gave me a prorated refund once I learned the Wheel & Tire Package was a waste of money.

If you own the car outright, they will refund the cash to you. If you are leasing, the refund goes to your owed balance. I'm not sure what the case is if you are financed through another bank.

I thought it was transferable versus the regular included maintenance is not. I extended mine on my 2016 and was told I could cancel and get a pro rated refund if I sell my car.

For me, I knew the basics (what was covered, duration, that it was transferable, etc.) but wasn't so concerned at that point about every last t&c, especially because at the time I was planning on keeping the car long term and I was more concerned with making sure everything was set for my ED. I assumed the full T&C would be in my paperwork, or sent to me shortly afterwards, but it wasn't/never was, and I forgot about it, until now.
