I tried a1 Auto transport. they were pretty okay but I am looking for other alternatives as well. I've been looking online for different shipping companies since I need to move away and I can't drive across the country with the car but instead I need to fly (it's a time sensitive issue). I've seen some companies (one of them I liked a lot. You can check it here: https://www.shipvehicles.com/) and there are a lot of things to consider like open or closed shipping. If you want it express delivered or not. In general there are a lot of things you need to think about plus the cost. This company I found though seems to be okay. Going to give it a go.

I just used Montway and I cant say I would go with them again.

NJ to CA
Enclosed Trailer
Requested Hydraulic Lift Gate
ETA: Jan. 09 didnt arrive until Jan. 12

Pros:
By far the cheapest option I could find $1649 (enclosed but no hydraulic lift)

Cons:
1. Completely smashed CF Lip when unloading (Going through their claims process)

2. No communication throughout the entire shipping process, first communication we could get from the driver was the day of ETA and for them to tell me they would not be arriving until the next day. This happened 3 days in a row...

3. If you read other reviews they will charge you an extra $149 once you have confirmed your order. You do have the option to refuse this additional cost and they will continue to look for another driver as they are just a broker. The $149 is supposedly going straight to the carrier and not Montway.

4. Bottom loaded, car above mine was dripping oil all over my car from NJ to CA.

Matt at Intercity Lines was my preferred shipper but he was booked out until the end of Jan due to the auctions.

I also got a quote from Plycon but both Intercity and Plycon were around $2400

I too recently used Montway but had a rather good experience. $1359 enclosed from VA to CA. No damage arrived 4 days early.

CMC United Motors Inc, self-employed car carrier that does strictly open trailer up and down the east coast. Mention David for a good deal. Definitely cheaper than Montway or any other broker out there because he isn't a broker taking a piece of the cut. Always go directly to the drivers!

US Luxury Shippers. Just got my M3 from Tampa to Chicago without any issues and could given 1-2 day windows for drop off and pick up. Jackie can definitely take care of you.

I'd recommend Plycar. I had them transport from Oregon to Texas. They were very detail oriented and professional.

It depends on where to where you have to ship it, so basically it would take you near 1000$ for a coast to coast shipping. But it depends, you have to choose a good shipping service to be sure that your car will be safe delivered right on time. I will highly recommend you to use https://www.shipaa.com/ This is the best shipping service on the market, and I know a lot of people who have used this service more than 2 times. All the cars were delivered right on time, safe and sound, door-to-door. New trucks, communication with the truck driver, GPS tracking service, terminal to terminal transportation and a lot of other great options available for this service.

I used Icat Auto Shipping two months ago to ship my M3 from CT to IA. They are a small family run broker that came highly recommended from my seller. He knew an individual that used them regularly. Joanna was great to work with, explained everything, and gave me her personal number so I could reach her any time. She was upfront that she may be slightly more expensive than other quotes I could get but they only use shippers with great ratings that they were familiar with. The job got booked the same day and my car arrived a couple days later in a two car, fully enclosed trailer. The car was in perfect condition. I recommend checking them out if you are looking to ship a car.

I just used Jackie @ US Luxury Shippers, he wasn't communicating well with me. I had to reach out via phone and email multiple times to get answers, he didn't return my calls and the truck broke down prior to picking up my car in TX. Called Jackie left messages and he finally called me back, by the way the truck driver is who informed me of the truck issues not Jackie... Next time I will use someone else.
At least he was able to get my car on another truck with no extra charges, I asked for truck driver name and number as GPS tracking is not available. Topline Service Inc. delivered safely and in one piece. Ask for insurance coverage as some carriers carry 250k and some between 1m to 2m.

My first choice was Intercity Lines but Matt couldn't get to my car for three weeks.
I called Montway, they were cheaper but pesky..

Call Topline 916-468-6276 or Intercity Lines and cut the middle man out, they have trucks from east to west coast. All trucks were fully enclosed not soft cover on sides.

This is it!! I called Mike, couldn't be more perfect and helpful with the process. Small broker but finds the perfect truck, knows the right drivers and guides you through.

Fully insured, enclosed from NJ to IL with extra parts.

Don't hesitate and work with Mike.

Montway. $1,049 from Atlanta, GA to Denver, CO open transport. It took 3 days. No issues and I would absolutely use them again.

Despite its name, comparing truck and car shipping isn't as simple as comparing apples to oranges. While the two industries are reasonably similar, there are significant differences in both packaging methods and materials used. Plus, while trucking can be considered an infrastructure business like other industries, car shipping is much different than it was even five years ago. If you are searching for car transport services, you can contact these guys. I work with them since 2018 and have never had any problems or delays.
