Eibach Pro Kit. wheel alignment needed?
Hi All,
The M3 CS I am picking up had the Eibach pro kit (-5mm back / -15mm front) installed few months ago and 12mm spacers all round. I am not sure it has done a wheel alignment though. Can you please let me know: 1. Does it need wheel alignment too? 2. What are the down sides in terms of handling? Cheers, S |

Measure your tread depth comparing inside, center and outside. This should give you an idea whether the tires are wearing evenly across the contact patch, or if something is different. If the insides or outsides are wearing faster then an alignment can help. If only the centers are wearing faster then just reduce tire pressure.
If the tires are new (so you can't tell by depth) and they're quality tires just do the alignment. It's only $200 at the dealer and you know afterwards you will wear tread evenly. And you have a CS...with better equipment, so it's worth it to have the setup right.

I meant CS is a track car and you have camber plates (good equipment). Good you bit the bullet.
