I agree. I also spec'd out a Z4 and was shocked at the price. If anything, the Z4 is the one to splurge on. The M4 is so much more car for the money.

I took time to replace BMW roundels on the wheels so that they are all aligned properly to the ///M emblem.
P.s. I m not totally cookoo. The wheels were already off, just before installing summer tires...

Wheels did get cleaned too well apparently. Well better than nothing. Will redo when this wears off in a couple of years
