Think that answers that question, the car shall be like a snow plough with the lowered suspension and splitter....!

Away from the original question but to give an alternate view. This is mine with h&r sport springs (oem dampers) warranty voided keeping fingers crossed.

This is a 30mm drop all round.

Handles well, retains edc and all settings are a step harder (comfort now feels like sport etc).

Scrape on big speed humps but the lip is designed well and has a convex base so although the underside gets scratched it doesn't show. Unless you hit a huge hump of course in which case it will snap.

I have to admit I've caught the underbelly on the tarmac on those rural country lanes where the road is sunken at the sides due to farm traffic etc. And once grounded going over a wayward stick in the road

Caution is needed when not on nice flat roads.

In the last pic on gravel this is a sloped driveway and highlights the snow plough issue

I'm currently looking into Coilovers for mine, and have the full front end kit on it, but I'm realising that this may well have to come off. I have ACS springs at the moment and it's fine, speed bumps and all.

Did consider the Mp suspension but I've got it in my head the weak link is still the actual dampers themself, it's such a shame dealers don't fit these kind of things to their demo cars so customers can actually try before they fork out £1500+

thanks, Cheapest option i could find at the time that didnt look like id gone to halfords

Ispiri ffr1 19" as mine is a non comp pack. I had a full set of brand new supersports and wanted to get a spare set of wheels for winter tyres.

put the supersports on these and use the oem wheels for winter tyres.

these are 9x19 and 10x19 same as oem size (they also come in 20").

the offset gives a flush look without needing spacers, really happy with them.
They are flowforged (cast face and sort of a forged barrel) they are not truely forged but i didnt have £5K spare to go with proper forged wheels at the time.

Hey Colin,
I am sure someone will take you for a drive in a car with these on. You are more than welcome to try mine but it means a trip to Dublin I'm afraid!

I would love a meet where some of the like minded members meet up to check out suspension options.

I know you are on ACS as I was, the MPHAS is far better in my opinion. You also need a software update, if you haven't already had one.

I don't have a reference for other options so my view is a little limited. I know bilstein are bringing out replacement dampers (not the B16 coilovers) at some stage so they could be a great option to replace the Sachs with. They will work with the MPHAS also.

Cheers
Mike

Hi Mike thanks for the reply.

Dublin is a lovely city, but a bit far to come and try some suspension

We have regular meets over here in Scotland and members have varying suspension options.
I'm a big ACS fan, and have driven a car on their RS Coilover suspension and it was extremely good. I'm just trying to justify almost double the price of the M performance HAS kit.

My ACS springs just aren't quite low enough for my liking, I also find they are maybe too soft a spring rate for the CP dampers. They worked brilliantly on my old non competition pack car.

Someone put airbags on a M3? If their going to change the outside anyways why not get a normal 3 series and save money for mods lol. Airbags wow...

As for lowering the car could use them since the fronts are so high. I love the front lip as well but its made of plastic so can take a lot of abuse.

The zcp 20's use low pro tires where the 19 and 18 iches don't so diameters won't be much or even able to keep the front lip higher with springs. Look for springs with the least amount of drop and that would be both the lip and ride performance. Eibach comes to mind I'm not sure how much the MPerformance ones are but from the pic they do look aggresive compared to eibachs.

Thanks running Judd wheels 9.5 x 20 - 265/30/20 and 11 x 20 - 295/30/20, direct fitment no spacers

The underside of the CF splitter has a few scrapes

Fitment is very good imo

Cheers

Post install I can say the low speed ride is very slightly harder due to the stiffer springs but only just noticeable. The drop is moderate and maintains the OEM look.

Steering is sharper, handling that tighter. Early days but I'm happy!

Height adjustment is just like normal coil overs, you're given a tool to wind the spring collar up or down. Realistically I don't think I'll ever touch them.
Looks stunning

Thanks for this! I've been wondering if there was a solution for that atrocious wheel gap up front without going aftermarket and losing any features in our cars.

Sorry for the dumb question, but anyone know if this is available in the US also?

Certainly shows up in the retrofit list on realoem.com for a US car.
