Car Play

Question.

Any way to get the map in apple car play to take up the entire screen. There is a black box to the right of it that says apple car play why would they do that and not use the entire screen?

I believe some coding needs to be done. I believe you need a laptop (I think you need windows) and some specific type of cable. Hopefully someone can shed some more light on this. But without this, I do not think you can make it full screen - bothers me too
