Best Look Yet at Production Bound BMW M4 Coupe
BIMMERPOST NEWS Best Look Yet at Production Bound BMW M4 Coupe Following the reveal of the BMW M4 Concept, testing continues on the production M4 Coupe and here we have our best look yet at the production bound F82 M4. [Also have a look at the F80 M3 sedan just spotted today!] Spotted in Germany, this prototype looks nearly the same as the concept. The only significant differences are the absence of the concept's carbon fiber front lip, rear diffuser fins, carbon fiber exhaust tips and black kidney grilles, which may all become available as part of the M Performance Parts catalog for the M4. While this M4 wears the standard blue M brakes, the M Carbon Ceramic Brakes (in gold as seen on the M4 concept) will be an available option. Everything else is virtually identical - the bumpers, sideskirts, mirrors, roof, rear diffuser, CSL style trunk and the hood bump. Seems like those of you who were impressed by the M4 Concept will not any letdown with the production M4 model. We've posted our M4 Concept photos for comparison. Technical specs have not yet been released for the M4, but we'll cover the first details in late September. For speculation on what to expect, reference our details/info/spy pics compilation. The production M4 coupe and M3 sedan will have simultaneous debuts at the 2014 NAIAS in Detroit in January. Ordering will be available beginning in January-February and production begins in the March-May window. Expect deliveries by early Summer. As for pricing? As we've alluded to before, just because the M4 Concept looks expensive doesn't mean that the M3/M4 will be priced with a much higher premium than the outgoing E9x M3. BMW is trying its best to hold pricing close to the outgoing M3, albeit with adjustments made to reflect additional standard equipment that the F80 M3 and F82 M4 will feature. As always, stay up to date on the latest BMW M3 and M4 news and features @ http://www.bimmerpost.com/m4/ |

If you're buying this, get the front lip.

as a buddy from other forums said.... look it's an M5 coupe!
needs shorter wheel base and neatly tucked in front/rear bumpers like classical BMW. |

Perhaps we will see that in the M2--this is too big for me, and looks a little busy in places, but is certainly a nice looking car.

I see the ugly angled exhausts tips are back .
Hopefully the exhaust, diffuser and front lip will all be available at launch even if optional |

not super enthused . I just feel like there was soooo much speculation of some extremely aggressive body change.. (the 4 series coupe is just too familiar looking to me. Yes, I see the wider rear fenders.)
But I already have seen some 3 series with the modded front bumpers that look as good if not better. |
