Nav updates

Maybe, it has been discussed, but I've searched a little: https://10carbest.com/best-hidden-gps-trackers-for-car and didn't find an answer... How do people update their nav maps?

I have a 2015 M4 with old maps. Other than taking it to the dealer, I assume we have devised a way to update it. There are sellers on eBay with a "lifetime FSC code", but without map data. Does someone have info about where to get this map data?

Some folks here in Canada have used codemybimmer.ca for updates with good results. That could be an option.

buy the liftetime code.
Buy the correct nav data for your region, and idrive.
Put it on a thumbdrive and update it.
