I was wondering if anyone knows what this is rubbing and if it's important? This is the right fender liner

Looks like the tire is rubbing it, and not lightly either. Of course the fender liner is important - there's quite a few items behind it that I wouldn't want directly exposed.

Yeah I understand, more or less I'm trying to find out what exactly this is in the picture. I can heat gun the fender liner and push it back to close it again.

Well im pretty sure what you're looking at in the photo is a hole worn into your wheel liner. You should know that if you took the photo, right?
