We finally had a few nice Spring days in a row.
I did a full wash, decontamination, clay and ceramic coating spray on our 2 BMW's.
I also switched my winter wheels/tires to my summer 437M wheels/MP4S on the M3. I can't wait to do some sunny Spring cruising.

I wanted to test the new Turtle Wax Ceramic spray. I like the process of applying sealant/wax occasionally , so I haven't done the "actual ceramic coating". I applied the ceramic spray wax, let it cure overnight and applied a layer of Beadmaker on top it. I am very happy with the results. The surface is super slick and has an unbelievable gloss to the paint . I have seen cars that have an actual ceramic coating and I can't tell the difference between them. The spray was super easy to apply and remove.

Here are some more pics of the M40i in the sun. Phytonic Blue Metallic really is an amazing color. Inside the garage, the color looks dark blue, almost black. Outside the color looks totally different ranging from bright blue to purple.

Very nice! Glad to see some BMW detailing occurring during this downtime. (And, kudos for maintaining a stock ride height on the M3!)

Much thanks! I would love to lower it, but it is my DD and their are too many crappy roads around here. Since I had it jacked up changing my wheels, the springs still haven't settled in the front, I need to drive it. The larger MPS4 265/285 help a little bit with the wheel gap.

Same here on mine being a DD. I figure as soon as I drop the front end I'll increase the chance of actually hitting everything I routinely drive over on the highway. The gap on my 16' is a little annoying but, Thx for the tire size tip to take some of it out. Completely forgot about that.
Stay healthy.

I recently went with the real ceramic. I like the idea of light maintenance once a year--assuming proper care taken when washing; but I've heard really good things about beadmaker.

Both cars look really good.
