Did you seriously just install eyelids and a trunk spoiler without Betalink?! Good luck with those staying secure at higher speeds or at least someone not walking up and taking them off your ride. Sigh.

Rear trunk lips stay on very securely with a properly installed double-sided tape, dawg.

More important question is, why would you put eyelids on your car in 2020.

I agree, double-sided tape is a good option. I may be old school, but I was taught to do your homework, measure twice and cut once. Why spend time putting on a nice upgrade to his vehicle when it will be prudent to do it the correct way the first time and save the headaches down the road?

As an older M3 enthusiast who has owned three different generations (E36, E46 and F80) and has enjoyed doing work on them, I was just asking the obvious question. People can mod their car to their hearts content and each mod is subjective to the owner's delight. I just chuckle when I see M3 owners cut corners to save a few dollars, knowing how much they spent to be part of the club.

I hope he enjoys his mods and has fun driving his beautiful machine.

Thing with Betalink is, it's a PITA to remove once installed. And the install is messy, somewhat permanent which, for people who change parts/cars like diapers, might be annoying. Honestly, I bought an eBay knock-off of an OEM Performance spoiler about four years ago for another car - it came with a fake 3M tape, too. And the trunk lip has been sitting on the trunk rock solid ever since.

I think the wing looks good. Not sure why you have to wash your car every 10 feet you drive. Also, I've washed my car before, why would I want to watch you wash yours while you play music you like that I probably have no desire to listen to. I can also watch myself go 35mph through streets. It's just not fun. Cut to the eyelids and the wing. You want views cut out the extra stuff only you care about. Most people would just move onto the next video if they hear that music.
