M3CS Lease Swap Help
Hello everyone,
First time ever doing a lease swap so I am quite unfamiliar with all this, but... Looking into taking over a lease for a 2018 BMW M3cs. Is this a good/fair deal? $2000 to current owner, then for monthly payments 498$ per month for 9 months. And an additional $750 dealership fee to takeover this lease. Any help would be great! Thank you. |

$498/month for 9 months to drive the CS?
That’s a fantastic deal even with $2k to the owner, that’s still way below than the average $750+ lease out there.

The effective payment is a reasonable deal, depending on available miles as well. You also need to consider tire condition and car overall, assuming it is in great shape.
I have done a few takeovers on leases and swapped some of my own as well. I do not understand the dealer fee of $750, that was already paid by you upfront? BMW Financial does charge a $500 transfer fee to whoever is assuming the lease. This needs to be accounted for as well. Finally BMW Financial has put a hold on transfer right now. You can list and get an interested party for when this hold is taken off. Hope that helps. Swapalease will usually move your car the fastest. |

Make sure that car doesn't need tires. You will pay a lot more if you have to replace them by lease end.

Also double check by calling bmw financial.. I have been hearing due to virus situation BMW is not allowing lease transfers right now. 500 is the transfer fee.
Good luck |

Depending on your state you will need to pay all taxes at the DMV when you register the vehicle. So potentially factor that in if you only plan to keep the car until lease tenure.

It's ok deal because it's around 800-900 plus tax. And at the end of lease you are responsible for all the extra payment and return fee o think is 350. Unless there is no tire wear nor other damage. Normally dealer charge 2000 for a new set of tire. Not sure about cup2
