There is actually no need for hood vents as the car deliberately focuses on function over form..

Looks much better than I expected. Can anyone tell if the fenders are more flared than a regular 4 series?

I'm in the minority, but honestly I don't think it looks "much" better than the e92. Obviously the front fascia with the 1M'esque bumper, and the rear, look pretty good, but overall I expected a bit more.
Powertrain wise, yes, turbo I6 with 450'ish HP and lots more torque, blah blah blah, but again, not a huge leap from the e36 -> e46 ->e92 numbers. Looks good overall, no doubt..... but nicely packaged it will end up around 80'ish. Hard pill to swallow for this car. Hate away...

I love every bit of it! I am glad to see the side vents are WAY different than the regular 4 series.
I actually think that M strip on the roof is pretty cool too! What do you guys think? This color looks exactly the same as Phoenix in the pics. I wonder how different it will be in person.

No..
Bring the whole fascia up to meet the hood line. On all other 3er's the hood line meets the grille essentially. No droopyness. Ah, the prototype S55. We don't necessarily know that the heat exchanger will be that high. But even if it is, it looks like it'll still clear without the unnecessary bump.

However, I think you are well off in terms of performance leap. Sure we don't know the full numbers yet, but judging by how much quicker the F10 M5 is over the E60 M5, I'm quite certain it'll blow the E9x out of the water. And this is before the tuners get their hands on this, then it's really game over. As for the price, don't go Individual and add every single option then. Everyone should know that options are what raises the price to eye watering levels.
