As someone else pointed out, it's just a bad Photoshop job. Look at all the rubber stamp errors on the seat bottom.

Just does not look like the final product to me and more like a late model demo. Have no doubt will be splashed with carbon trim and other options to spice things up. Until I see the official BMW pics i will reserve judgement.

One piecers, hopefully light and comfortable. Steering wheel looks meaty, even thicker than the E90.

The dash looks no different than that of a 328i w/M-Sport Package. Pretty weak on BMW's part. Interior needs to match the cars performance and these pics just aren't getting the job done. Pretty disappointing.

Where is this coming from? Dash has been pretty much identical to other cars since the beginning of time! From the 1M to the M6, dash design has always been the same apart from bespoke trims and gauges. It's not like this is a huge surprise or anything. The seats on the other hand, that's a different story.

BMW obviously drawing some inspiration from the C63's wonderful seats.
A very smart move. Wish the M logo was embossed on the headrest instead.

Maybe the original source of these pics came from that website? The M3 was spotted testing in China.

And how do the interiors of 80 % of BMW's look? Black leather, alu or black trim, iDrive and no contrast stitching on older models. You act like you have no clue that BMW has offered a lot of other interior trims/colors since... I don't know. What leather do you have in your M3?

I'd love to see e36m3 style seats,or M3 CRT. This seats is so,so but could be much better, hopefully it will be a perfomance option!!!

In regards to the "you act like..." there's been a lot of downgrades in how communicative the F series cars are vs earlier BMW but one thing they have improved on ( 5,6,7 X-series ) is the interior ambience. The pictures in this thread are just showing a very plain sea of greys and plastic looking trim. Here's an example from the M6 with black interior and CF trim which is IMO way more appealing. Hopefully it's just the general over exposure of the M3 pix that causes everything to wash out and the leather is actually black and CF + Alcantara trim will be available. |
