Car Cover Advice
Hey guys,
Anyone have any good product names for car covers? If it matters, the summers here are hot (30 C or 90 F), dry and sunny. Not a ton of rain. Spring can have a moderate amount of rain and the early spring can freeze over night. When the car is outside it's under a carport and largely protected from sun and rain. I'll store the car indoors in late fall and all winter (not keen on putting my baby on the road in a Canadian winter). Even though it's in a carport, I'd like to have the option to cover my F82. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I had gotten that top of the line 435i car cover. Looks like Tron. White with black stripe making an outline of car. Use it on my M4 no prpblm.

has anyone found a car cover company that sells covers that accommodate the antenna shark fin? I just emailed california car covers and they said when they designed it, they didn't know where the sharklet would be so they created the cover without. however they would include a pocket for me to have someone sew on on my end.
since i'd like to avoid this, has anyone found an outdoor cover/brand that was designed with the sharklet pocket included? |

Car Cover
As the winter approaches, and the dire realization that I soon need to put the car away for its hibernation, I was left with ordering a car cover. I took a chance on this one, from Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Just wanted to let everyone know it's a perfect fit. It's just like my E90 M3 OEM car cover, inside and out. Very happy with purchase. Here's a very bad PANO pic...

Considering it says he drives a F80 in his profile, I'm gonna guess Sedan plus the roof line is a dead give away.

Storage/Car Cover
Looking for a nice indoor car cover that won't harm the paint, and won't cost $200. Any recommendations?
Also looking for a good trickle charger if anyone has recommendations on that as well. 2016 M4 |

Interesting topic.
Everytime I've used car covers in the past. It's been a nightmare. It leaves scratches, putting it on and taking it off just blows all kinds of dust all over the place. Unless there is a new way you guys are doing it?

Anyone have input on a good outdoor cover for f82? Seeing some opinions since the last post 3 years ago. Dont exactly want to spend a ton. Weather isnt crazy here in soCal. Want to protect the cf parts from fading in the sun and for other reasons, but doesnt often rain or crazy wind or anything. Need outdoor cover, that wont damage paint. Will prob be getting a ceramic coating soon. I know not to use the cover while car is dirty. Seems like some get away with 50-200 covers and swear by it no problems. Then there's higher end like California car covers superweave, another brand Beverly hills covers been around since 70s people say there's from decades ago is still holding up great. And just buying some weathertech mats, see they sell but that price is even more crazy than the 400 superweave. Its lije 529. I can get %10 off with them which i still cant even see spending over 200-250 unless its just amazing. Dont really have much experience with high end covers. Most oem I've had were all indoor category car is an 18 m4 comp light blue color, 19k miles and cars in perfect condition, want to keep it that way, been super hot/sunny lately and cant always park in shade to protect cf roof, trunk lip or lower bumper cf pieces from fading
