Music through Apple car play

I just took re-delivery of my M4 after European Delivery.

Apple car play was not available in Europe so I’m using it for the first time. My initial impression is that’s it’s cumbersome and not very functional. As I learn how to use it hopefully I’ll think otherwise.

My question is when I play music it only comes through the right speakers. I can’t change it by playing with the idrive balance and faders. Has anyone had this problem and/or have any thoughts on how to correct this?

Hello,
It is possible to activate it in Europe also.
I would try resetting iDrive settings as well as Sound settings.
