Mods : Carbon pads only - standard rotors
Tyres : Michelin Pilot Sport 4S

Recorded on Natsoft. I have a video but it's in 4K off the GoPro and it's a massive file.

I'd like to bring that down a bit so I'd be interested in what you think are the best mods - please bare in mind it's my daily so don't want to go nuts.

Great effort.

Camber plates, pads, maybe thrust arm bearings, good tyres, and some books on technique. Then plenty of in car footage. Enjoy.

Very nice. What tyres you running for this? Seems like a lot of steering lock most corners?!

great fun day out. Car and Brakes didn't mind being on track, however road tires got really hot and look melted,

hey mate, sorry i missed this lap earlier, why the mixed tyres front and rear? Btw pressures are way to high and temps way too low... aim for 33-34 hot on street tyres at arournd 70-80 degrees temp..or better still, grab some semi-slicks

Better at 32-34 but don’t start too low to begin with or you’ll damage your side walls, monitor adjust a bleed thru day.

Suggest for anybody tracking these cars regularly, camber plates, pagid RS29 pads and 18” wheels with Advan A050 tyres. Great set up and driveable to and from circut. If you’re in Sydney, see Adam @ Advan Performance.
What brake rotors are you using?

Car came with continental from factory and are still on there, rears didn't last long so they got changed for the Michelin' s.
I think I got about 12k out of rears, car has 20k now nearly due for full set.
Track tires would be ultimate. I don't get that much time to play, wasn't worried about times, just wanted some fun. I didn't adjust pressure from normal driving and needed to drive 400km back home after the day

welcome to your new best friend... will save your tires, decrease your lap times and will be safer for $99... this plus a good quality tyre gauge worth every penny

ok so the stock rotors and pad set up is not ideal for the track... its actually not the rotors that are the issue, its the pads... the pads cant cope with the heat, and so leave deposits and cause the rotor to wear unevenly. I ran stock rotors with pagid RS29s, which are a far more abrasive pad, for a year at the track without any issues. Put the stock pads back on and the set up was f*&ked in one day... fairly easy to change yourself, or just have your local workshop do it in 15-20 mins the day before and after the track day (was too noisy for me on street full time). Make sure you update your fluid to a high quality race fluid too. SRF of Motul 600 are great, SRF particularly as they say you can leave in for a year without changing. If you're in Sydney go see Adam at Advan Performance.

Alcon rotors - only have to change rotor, not hat - and lighter too! Factory drilled rotors are good for "street performance" ie: lower noise. Slotted good for track - either way get some brake cooling. I felt the pedal start to go on a 20 min session with rs29, factory disk, no cooling. Thinking of going M5 6 piston fronts....

I've got a similar set up. I'm using CCB calipers up front which i had repainted in the OEM colour with RS29 pads and Australian made Brypar rotors.
and they fit inside my 18" wheels.
Back is totally standard except for RS29 pads.
