I loved the ad08r and the re11. I thought the re11 was a better all around tire and it didn't wear as fast. all things equal, I would go for re11. it also is much better in the rain.

I would never consider a PSS for specific track use

Nowhere near as sticky as the OEM PSS in my experience. It would be a downgrade in performance.

Michelin makes a 255/35ZR19 Cup 2 as well to go with the 275 rear. Call Tire Rack and see if they can special order. They didn't list my sizes in the Cup 2, but I called and they were able to get them to me in about 2 weeks.

Perelli Trofeo R in 265/35ZR19 and 285/35ZR19 are another option:

Slightly taller, will be faster than the AD08r if it fits, though that's still a very good option.

RE050A isn't suitable.

Just be warned, they make a hell of a racket compared to the PSS. Lots of loud humming noises, etc.

Nice looking tire... but in the extreme performance group, it looks like the AD-08 still has faster lap times in the dry and wet (although the BFG outscored it overall).

I had both on my e92 m3s - the rival is faster and trickier to drive than the ad08 and ad08r
