Best Place to order Carbon Fiber accessories?

I contacted my BMW Dealership here in Dubai and the prices they charge for the carbon fiber accessories are out of this world.

Now my question is, are the carbon fiber accessories provided by RW Carbon or AutoTechnik real carbon fiber or just look like carbon fiber?

Also, how is the fit and finish compared to the genuine ones provided by the dealership?

Who provides the best ones?

Finally, I see some pics of the carbon fiber front splitter/lip in black or matching the car's color. what do you think looks better? leave it black or match it to the paint?

This is an example from AutoTechnik but unfortunately it's chopped off so it doesn't give me the full picture of my car would look like. I have the YMB M4.

Ill ask them.......the sales exec whom I ordered my car through told me that's the site which all his customers get their accessories from

I just sent them an email but they have no phone number and the live chat doesn't work. I don't feel very good about them already

nevermind, I'm gonna go with getbmwparts as they have OEM genuine parts even though the're a bit more expensive

they do not ship internationally but they can ship to my freight forwarding address in the US

I don't think you can find any carbon fiber better than OEM . At least I haven't yet. Good luck with the purchase

yeah man I did some reviews on RW Carbon and saw mixed results, some didn't have perfect fits like on the mirror caps or rear diffusers and that scared me away as returning them for me will be a big hassle to remove them, send them back, then wait for the replacement.

I'd rather pay extra for the OEM ones and be done with it

That's exactly the situation I got or in. I'm saving to spend a little more in OEM carbon. After market service can be sketchy sometimes as well. I'd rather not deal with that as much as possible.

I hunted around on ebay and found a few BMW dealers on there selling parts a decent amount cheaper than the known websites like Turner and getbmwparts. I contacted the dealer/seller and asked them about the other parts that I was looking for. It all worked out well and I saved a bunch of money.

BMW dealers can not sell anything (cars/parts/etc..) to anyone outside US. ITs per BMW rules. all items will have to be shipped to a verified US address. Just wanted to make sure that was stated incase anyone was stating otherwise

M Performance CF bits are disappointing in quality. I regretted shelling out more money for inferior quality. The fitment was poor and there white contaminants before clearcoat was applied over it.

My M performance CF bits are flawless on my E92 M3.

Hey, I know this is an old thread, but just curious to see if you used getbmwparts to get OEM parts to Dubai?

I was thinking about using them to avoid paying the premium prices in Dubai.

Did you use shop and ship or a similar service to get them forwarded from the US to Dubai?
