Excellent news! + Thank you for the status/timeline updates, I’m converting the dates into my BW equivalents so I know what to expect and by when.

Based on your timeline mine should go as follows:
June 2nd - 5000 Confirmed for Production
June 6th - 5055 Confirmed by Production Control
WC June 16th Build Week! - Production codes 5100 through to 5500
WC June 30th - 9800 Arrived Dealer

About to order

Have just placed the deposit.

Negotiated a great discount.
Didn't go crazy on the options.

SSII
Advanced loudspeakers
Sliding armrest
Aluminium trim
Storage pack

No idea of build week yet

Trying not to get too excited until paperwork all signed.

Good work, would think September delivery?

Thanks.
Was guessing at September.

I asked local dealer to match the offer I got.
He went mad!
Tried to find out who I was dealing with.
Was probably going to get BMW UK to lean on them for offering too much discount!

6.1% APR as well rather than the 7.7 on BMW website.

Properly chuffed!

Just noticed the M3/4 showing 4.9% APR in the BMW website online builder. I think my example finance was drawn upon a 5.9 so I will be asking about this next week.

4.9% would be cracking on a launch car so I'm a little sceptical. This is PCP by the way or whatever term BMW has for it.

I ordered in the 5.9% offer rate window (cars ordered between Jan 1st and March 31st and registered by June 30th) - My car could possibly miss this June 30th cutoff by a few days so my dealer contacted BMW FS and they have now agreed to honour the 5.9%. If we hadn't spotted this, the rate would have changed to the current offer rate of 7.7% - Be warned!

Re the 4.9% in the builder, this is referencing an old offer window, see T&C's attached to it:
"Offer(s) available at participating dealers only and may be varied or withdrawn at any time without notice. Subject to availability. Offer available on selected models ordered between 1 October 2013 and 31 December 2013 and registered by 31 March 2014. Finance is subject to credit acceptance and available to over 18’s in the UK only (not Channel Islands or Isle of Man). Terms and conditions apply. Guarantees and indemnities may be required. Finance provided by BMW Financial Services (GB) Limited, Bartley Way, Hook, Hampshire RG27 9UF, a company within the same corporate group as BMW (UK) Limited. Finance examples do not commit BMW Financial Services to provide finance."

I'd be delighted to be wrong Neil, agree it seems the E92 roof had them, UAAE247s did not...although you have me hoping again now, I'm going to look again

I'd put in a customer service request on it via your dealer.

The specs mention nothing about this, whilst I never plan to use a roof rack etc, it would be annoying to find that you couldn't when you need too!

Neil.

I've just gone “5055 Confirmed by Production Control” and have a chassis + VIN number!

+ My expected handover week has come forward from 28 to 26 (i.e. the week commencing June 23rd)!

Woooooohooooo!

i placed my order a week ahead of yours and was on the same schedule, so hopefully I'll hear some good news later today (although I'm buying from one of the busiest dealers so might not be as lucky).

Fingers crossed for you - Interestingly enough my Build Week is still showing 25 however the Expected/Handover Week has come forward to 26! (i.e. week commencing 23rd of June).
They are clearly anticipating an earlier production date + fast delivery from factory to dealer as my "Cust Handover date" is showing as the 30th of June with a "LAUNCH HOLD" flag.

I plan to book the first run in service a week or so after collection day - Week 1 run her in and dispatch 1200 miles ASAP, week 2 fun fun fun

Smile Soon!

Just got my VIN today. Car is being assembled right now, will be on a truck to the UK on the 13th or 20th of June, then I still have to clear customs ( it is US Spec) Hopefully I will have it on the road by 1 July!

Wow, well done, I've not had another update yet, but my salesman is off on Tuesdays, so maybe I'll get an update tomorrow.
