Had a great morning at evolve automotive scars and coffee yesterday. Some awesome cars in attendance even with the dodgy English spring weather.
One of the photographers in attendance very kindly sent me some images he took of my car. All credit to www.ideaphotography.co.uk

It would look awesome in silverstone. I couldn't as I have two kids plus wear blue jeans every day. It would be ruined in a week.

Things have moved in a little since I last updated this thread. For my birthday last month my lovely wife got me an eibach pro kit. Exactly what I wanted for the car. The H&R springs I had on my last M4 were way too low and I scraped humps on a daily basis.
I've decided to keep the 666M wheels for now so also ordered a set of eibach spacers. 15mm front 12mm rear. I always planned to tint the windows so not wanting to delay any further I booked that in as well for 20% rear and 35% front ceramic tints. When I dropped it off the guy was puzzled as to why I wasn't also tinting the headlights and rear lights.....so this got added to the list as well. I must say I'm really happy with how it's looking now. I had it on a club stand at the bmw show, Santa pod and it certainly drew attention. Also did my first ever run on a drag strip. Managed a 12.7sec / 118mph quarter mile. Here's a before and after comparison and some pics from Santa pod.

Evening all. I rarely post on here as Instagram seems to have taken over 😂
A little update to keep this thread going. New addition this year, 40th present from my awesome wife. 10x20 and 11x20 hre ff11 in liquid metal. Also added ps designs titanium stud conversion. And bm3 stage 1 tune. Two and a half years in and still loving it.

I were always a fan of that stunning color and loved to get one for me, but as I had the opportunity no one would buy my former car for a fair price and meanwhile no adequate green bimmers are for sale. So I had to change plans.
Keep the mods up, very cool car dude.

A little update as my discs had seen better days.
Alcon oe replacement discs fitted all round. Fit straight on with oe callipers and replaces the pitted filthy silver bmw bells with nice tidy black ones. Verdict... looks great (to me anyway), when warm they stop the car soo much better than the bmw discs. However in the interests of full transparency they are a bit slow to react when cold (needing a firmer pedal stomp) and apparently the drill holes on the oe discs are there to prevent a water film between pad and disc in the wet. It's noticeable that these don't have drill holes as in the wet they are shall we say a bit iffy but nowhere near dangerous you just need to be aware. I drive sensibly when cold and wet and not so when it's dry and I do a few track days a year. For me they are perfect. Anyone else tried them?

Have not heard that about drilled rotors, but even they have scared me a bit on a few occasions in the wet despite the automatic drying feature. British EBC has got replacement discs now as well.

I've had awful experience with ebc pads so the brand is dead to me I'm afraid 😂. Plus I don't think they offer rears and I can't live with non matching disks front and rear.
