I'm not a huge fan of the new look in general, but how can you judge looks based on poor quality photos of a dirty prototype car with mismatched wheels on a dreary day?

I think I'll just keep my "old" M3 and change out the wheels to make it look new again..

Not feeling it either, although SS II is the worst color in BMW's palette. I'm sure it will look better in person/in motion. Still prefer the E92 and E46 for presence, at least in pics. This car looks pretty plump...

I agree that the M4 looks weak in these pictures and that it is probably the color and options shown, love the m sport 4'in person so it should be great in person

The more I see it, the more I dislike it.......there were times it was just the opposite ........
It is really too big, too stretched, too much GT en too less real sports car exterior wise. It doesn`t have the right flow, the weird angle between hood and windscreen, the bending nose, diving like a submarine, al in all a puffy look, not as a well trained athlete. Engine will be good with out a doubt, but the outside package is questionable IMHO. Last edited by Romo; 12-23-2013 at 02:51 PM.. |

Quite embarrassing but "atrocious" is the correct word. I cannot imagine that bmw did not have some internal war over how bad this engine sounds. I think this is the worst sounding turbo engine I have ever heard.

Wow I have to say in this pic it looks like garbage. The front bumper looks awful, the rear looks worse than the sedan. The side vents look bad.
Glad I got the e92 at this point. Making me feel better about my decision. Maybe by the LCI they will have the design worked out. I must say from the pictures the interior has some nice improvements though. My favorite being the new steering wheel. |

Never liked that color on E9x and this is no different.
Horrible color combination for M4. Can't believe this color actually made it to f8x.

ineffective looking car. No polarization and weak look.
I wished BMW didn't stop making ///M3. The only thing worrying me is if this car is a flop, it's going to reflect on the ///M brand value. This car succeeded well in convincing me I do not want one. |

would look much better with wheels that filled the arches. But you can tell that rear is wide as hell. That will be a game changer with people who will want to go with 12 inch rears.
