I honestly can't imagine where anything could end up inside the hub. Do you have a picture?

Just dropped the car off at the dealer (reg maintenance), so cannot get a pic now. It is literally where you would screw the lug bolt into the wheel hub. Just went all the way through.

It's probably just sitting on the brake rotor cooling vanes then.

Yeah, not sure. Service advisor seems to think it will make its way out. Tks.
