Valet from my apartment garage damaged my door panels leather(Unkown how). I want them to give me money so I can buy new leather door panels since my car’s interior was very clean, the car only has 12k miles. But they saying that they’ll have someone fix it, stating its a simple fix that would remove trace of any damage done. Now my question is, is what im being told true of it being easily fixable. I’m still in talks with them, but I don’t want to see no marks of that scratch ever being there.

It can be repaired. But you need to find the right person to do the job..

Just take it to the dealer and push the valet to go off of what the manufacturer recommends. Most likely full replacement at whatever the dealer charges. This is what will make you whole. What you do with the money afterwards is up to you and your right.

If you get the panel replaced, there is a chance you may end up with a rattle in your door.

If someone that works with leather and does it really well, it could be fixed. I had some leather damage after tinting my car and they had a guy to fix the leather and it came out perfect. Can't even notice it.

Make them a deal, try to fix it first and if it doesn't look perfect they will have to pay for the replacement of the panel.

Get it fixed, new door panel leather may not match the rest.
