Hello everyone, for sale is an OEM HW2.3 headunit upgrade with the correctly matched LCI, non touch, screen. This is the 2GB model that can/may have been already flashed to ID6. Great for Pre-LCI, mid to early 2015 and previous build date F3X/F8X's . Full disclosure, I got this through eBay expecting HW 3.1+ as the seller originally disclosed, but guess he pulled a fast one and wasn't being too nice to eBay resolution people. So eBay said I can discard as I please and gave a full refund. Was told this is virginized but will probably need to be flashed to your car's VIN nonetheless, which is usually under $200 for the remote coding session needed. Shoot me an offer! |

The BT and FM1 connectors are broken on your unit and need to be repaired. You can slide the connectors on but they will come loose once you hit the first bump. As you purchased (actually obtained free) in an eBay dispute, how do you know rest of unit is working and not broken or in security lock?

And this specific seller sells a lot of units, probably successfully (has decent reviews). But I wanted a 4GB unit and they didn't wanna accommodate in return shipping so eBay resolved it. But if anyone who would know how to code this is local to NYC/NJ/Philly, I can help you physically install it and check it out before buying. If it's total garbage and can't be fixed, have no problem refunding as I have nothing to lose lol. |

Nothing except that it should preform a little faster maybe?. I was happy to keep this provided the price I paid reflected what it was, but the seller got sour. I was mainly looking for a while set with 3.1 or higher

It's a different model number that requires a different cable connector (included) than 2015s. It's supposed to be brighter mainly (which I can confirm comparing to my 2015) and possibly have higher resolution, but I couldn't confirm nor was I able to tell the difference. Maybe side by side it's more noticeable but not worth paying just for that IMO. Unless yours got super dim for some reason.

Nothing really, as I compared it to a 2.3HW that was coded, but the 4.1's are just more expensive because they are new. So I originally paid the more expensive cost (more than $1k) and got this cheaper unit (that I could've gotten for $600ish). I decided to also get an entire package with touchscreen, which this wasn't even though advertised so.

And this is what happens with a unit with broken connectors like yours that need a very intricate repair. https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1885209 |
