Assuming they were working correctly, as you hit oncoming traffic the high beams will split, move further apart, and eventually the drivers side will turn off as the car drives by. But the passenger side will stay high, so your high beam indicator will stay illuminated. Only when both high beams turn off will the light on the dash turn off.

To me the best way to tell if they are working is to be driving behind someone. You can tell very easily if your high beams are split around the car, or shining up into their car.

Does adaptive led lighting puts a light on street signs as well? It could just be a coincidence but that's what it looks like.

Yes it does when the auto highbeams are on.

So I don't get flashed by oncoming traffic and my driver light appears to be off for the majority of the time. However, when I'm behind somebody, I tend to see my lights are hitting the car directly. I even got yelled at the other day by a guy thinking I was being a "Richard." Any thoughts?

They may be in normal headlight mode. I notice this too, but pay attention to the angle they're hitting the vehicle in. If it's low it's all good.

Did coding your LED's make them brighter? I coded mine for adaptive, but was told there wasn't an option to make the beams actually brighter.

I also enabled this last night, and what a difference. I can't believe I waited almost 2 months post delivery to code it. I also enabled the front corner lights as fog lights as well as enabling the rear fog lights.

I don't know what kind of options your car has but as far as I know, standard LEd headlights are dimmed and you can code it to make them brighter.

I've confirmed with my coder that there is no option to make the lights actually brighter, just the dazzle feature.

So someone is wrong here..

Could one of you guys direct me to the option/variable name to enable and/or increase the brightness?

The high beam light stays on when any form of the high beams are on with it. Try this and let me know what happens. Get behind a car on a relatively dark road and turn it on. It should carve out a space for that car. With mine I can clearly seem some light up on the car and if I turn it off the rear of the car in front of me definitely gets darker. So for that reason I'm hesitant to use it when I'm behind someone. At least with oncoming traffic they can flash me if they are getting blinded. I need to test this with someone I know in front of me.

This for Bi-Xeons only or LED too?

I have LEDs but I guess it works for both? Someone else would need to confirm.

I test this out last Friday night and it worked like a charm... If I have a car in front of me while on a dark secluded road the beams angle to the outsides of the road. If I'm on the interstate the passenger side angles to the right and beams the space right outside of the car in front of me. They never bright the car in front of me.

To answer all the brightness questions...

US LED headlights are in fact dimmer than the EU LED headlights. However if you've done all the coding correctly to enable VLD and NGHB you essentially now have EU spec headlights are have the max brightness possible.

Anyone local to Los Angeles who can do the latest updated coding for LEDs on this thread?

Page 4 just refers to Angel Eyes, which I have done.

I'm referring to the actual low beam output of LED's. which that manual doesn't seem to have an option for. Unless, its referred to as Day-Run Light Brightness option?

For LED's, they are controlled by LHM or FLE, not Fem_body.

DRL's (ie Angel Eyes AKA Corona Rings) for LED's are already at 100%. They can have different settings when you use headlight switch for position one and position two. Traditionally, they are dimmed with low beams, but it can be coded so they are not.
