I don't think 275/40/18 tires would fit, they are too big in diameter at 26.65" when inflated. My 265/35/19 tires are at 26.3" and there is about 2-3 mm clearance to inner well at the lower rear section, at about 160 deg angle. About the same on the front side with 3-4 mm clearance. So, you'd have to go with 35 section tires I think.

5mm spacers in front with an ET33 wheel would keep you closer to the stock offset (ET29). You just need to ensure you have sufficient clearance with the front strut.

13mm closer to the fender liner will for sure hit. 275-35-18 is about as much as you can go. trust me, its close.

I will mount up a wheel tonight and snap some pics for you. With a 10mm spacer, the room between the inner rim and strut is very small. I can hardly fit my finger in there. I will do my best to get an actual measurement for you. I think a 5mm spacer won't give enough room.

I am not sure who and how it is confirmed that size fits, but I don't see how it would. I will take a picture of what I mean about lack of clearance and post it. It is possible that people are mounting those size tires and the car is just standing and/or cruising, they "fit," but I highly doubt it.

Have a look at the pictures in post#76, it is a tight fit but it does fit .

anyway - you don't have to go through the trouble for photos although it may be helpful for the other guys. it's hard for me to know which way to go it seems like everyone's making good points, but i'm guessing most people's input has fallen within the range of acceptable. 18x10et33 square with 275/35/18 NT01 and 10mm spacers in front ... final answer for me. we really should get a sticky compile a thread of who runs what that has/has-not worked... lol. i really appreciate all the input here though ... thanks again guys!

Make sure the post #76 OP's tires are really not rubbing. 0.3" difference is 7.2 mm, I am honestly hesitant to say (7.2/2=) 3.6 mm additional diameter will not rub. Last edited by FTS; 03-30-2015 at 10:12 PM.. |

Does this mean I can use my stock 19s for the track? I don't feel like paying 1600 for a set of rims I'm going to use on the track!

After having done a few track days with my M4, it seems like it would prefer wider tires in the rear. Do you have any plans in releasing an 18X11 EC-7 wheel with suitable offset for the F8X anytime soon?

Yes of course, but I think they are too narrow of a wheel, and the R888s and probably R888Rs are not very good in the rain to use them as street tires, I would not recommend it. It would be better to run RE11, RE71 or AD08s I think.

It contacts the fender liner up front and that rear protrusion. Nothing serious. I just came back from a few events this weekend. No problems. |

Any rubbing with the 265/295 combo and are you on stock suspension? And are you still using this same setup or have you found a better combo. Thank you in advance! |

This allows you to input all sorts of clearances and check. I think you'll have about 12mm of inner clearance on your front. The rear I'm concerned about your outer clearance. 10et25 is already pretty aggressive. I fit 275 there a bit of room. RE71rs are very wide. I have a set on 295 on 11et44 and they fit okay. here is that comparison. 19mm extension out. That is concerning. https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?whe...scl=6mm&sr=0mm |

I will use oem 437M wheels in track. I need some advice, is it ok to use 275/30-19 tyres in front and 295/30-19 rear?
