Winter Drive - BMW M3 Snow Day
We had a bit of an early-season snowstorm today in the Northeast. Since I had the day off, decided to grab my GoPro and shoot a little bit of a 'drive' video with thoughts on the car in the snow. I am certainly no pro - but hope you guys enjoy!

Pretty awesome, but with the hills out west, it’s a risky proposition. Just throwing that out there as someone who has experience with F80s in the winter in Western Mountains. It is totally different than these videos from guys in the Midwest and Northeast. Every stop sign on a hill is nerve-racking. If you do not have steep inclines, it is completely feasible, and very fun, IMO.

I think you hit the nail on the head. With a car like the M3, I'm equally, if not more, worried about someone sliding into me in the snow, than the other way around even if I have snow tires.
I guess I think driving my most expensive car in conditions where the chance of an accident is inherently greatly increased is not a great idea. Great fun though!

Thanks man, it's an Eisenmann exhaust! I have a full system and it sounds perfect.
Hey man, no snow setup in the photo i posted. I'm running the widest Pilot SC2 (295) on the stock 19" 437m. I think there's a 10mm spacer back there too. Pretty much sitting flush with no poke as I need all the functionality! If you were looking for the best snow tire, I've had great success on my old M with Aplin, Pirelli Snowcontrol, and the Dunlops. As the above poster said just be careful on hills with anything RWD! cheers!
