I guess we don't know the compound yet? Extreme summer tire like a Pilot Sport Cup 2 or R888, or even a RE71R/Dunlop ZII street tire is a big upgrade over the PSS that are on the M3
Too bad the magazines don't have a control tire, or that BMW handicapped the M3 with the PSS and didn't give an option for a better performance tire |

*sigh*
Didn't we confirm Sutcliffe is anti-M3? Every video he has with an F8x he's goes on and on about how "bad" or "meh" the car is. His review is crap, his D3 vs M3 was botched and so this video is too. He's like the ultimate M3 hater in a world of just himself lol

I also haven't seen anyone using PSS to try and win in street tire time trials or autocross classes My take is that if your friend switched to sport cup 2 tires from the C7 Z06 he would be faster, and if the F80 was on that tire it would be faster (my guess is CTR will use those cup 2 tires, like the upcoming focus rs) |

There are not many better street tires when rated for grip, comfort, life and rain performance out there, period. Maybe the track is a different story, but many do not care about that. Last edited by Ian1973; 07-28-2015 at 08:22 PM.. |

Whole thread on this in versus section
Sutcliffe is becoming a joke. His drive was terrible (note the extend-a-drift on last corner and the throttle let-up over the line) He has some weird bone to pick with M and this car in particular, like the lead designer was schtooking his wife or something......

He even said himself- with the traction control off is not the fastest way around the track, yet that's what he used to hot lap.

You pointed out yourself there are better street class tires in that setting. I corded mine in 3 days and they were greasy for most of those 3 days. Of course i dont like them |

We see in the video the Audi and the BMW doing the lap. Where exactly was the footage of the civic going around?
