Leather panels

Hello all - I have been noticing in my wife's 2016 F83 that the leather on the door panels and in the back seat area sides is like separating from the panel - you can see air in there and it pushes in like the glue deteriorated. Has anyone else seen this or have any suggestions. Love the car but it should not be doing this so soon.

I also have a 2016 F83 and have not had any problems with the door panel leather. It sounds like some water may have leaked in an infiltrated the paneling, and damaged the glue. You may want to check to make sure that the rubber strip along the convertible top and windows is intact and liberally apply some gummi pflege stift to it, which will restore the rubber to the extent it may have dried out and lost it ability to seal. Just a thought. I apply gummi pflege stift to my convertible top rubber strip many times a year.

Not water

I had thought that but it is happening on both doors as well as on both sides in the back (near the top where it wraps around). Its like it is just separating inside. Wondered if a upholstery shop could peel back and reglue or if others saw it. Ive used the gummi pflege on other seals as well.
