Help! F83 M4 Parking Width
I'm so excited, I just bought a 2018 M4 Competition Convertible, and I'm planning to park it in a private garage near my apartment in San Francisco. The garage I'm look to rent has about 97/98 inches width at the widest point.
Any F82/F83 owners know the minimum width required to open the door and get into the car? Do you think this garage is wide enough? Thanks for any help! |

If you have exec package maybe you use the 360° cameras to park super close on passenger side to buy yourself a couple inches.
What color is your new ride? I’ll keep an eye out for you around the city 🤙 Congrats!

It does! Thanks so much, it’s Alpine White! Do you also have a similar model? If you’re in the city, any chance you’d be willing to meet me in the Castro for a width check?

97 inches is barely 8 ft wide. I have a 10 ft wide garage and it has barely enough room to open the door to the 1st detent.

The F83 at the mirrors measures 79 inches. By placing it 2 inches from the wall you will have 16/17 inches left if the widest point coincides with the doors... very difficult because the two-door version has larger doors.
