I took an M3 for a test drive, and I'm Impressed!

Afternoon Ladies and Gents,

Just wanted to share my experience of driving my first M series. Friday I had some free time and decided that I wanted to test drive a M series to see if I would be interested in owning one for my next car. Cosmetically I think they are in the top sexiest cars around! Performance wise I wasn't really sure because I never sat or drove one.

So I looked on cars.com found a couple in my area and picked the one that interested me the most. It was a M3 light blue color with around 23,000 miles for 48,000. Called up the dealer asked if they had it and made an appointment.

I show up to the dealer and right away see a M4 that has that yellow/gold color and I just get butterflies in my stomach. That's most def. the color I want on my car I tell the salesman. We go look at the M4 and the body was shit had dings, scratches and major paint defects... I point it out to the salesman and he says they just got the car in and they will fix everything.... (When I sold cars we wouldn't even show cars unless they were actually ready to be sold)

So I say ok whatever and we go for a drive around the block. The first block I already knew I wanted the car hahaha. The torque on this damn thing is insane!!! I felt like I was riding my supersport bike but much more comfortable haha. Not really to impressed on the interior compared to a non M series but handling, torque, sound just the performance of it. I explained to the salesman that I wasn't ready to buy before I even took the car for a drive and that I was just checking out possible cars that I might want to get in the next 6 months. After them trying to get me to buy the car in the condition it was and throwing out alternative cars that wasn't even something I was interested in I just left and thought in my head fuck this dealership. Even if I was ready to buy I don't think I would buy from them.

My plan is to pick up a F80 in maybe a yr. or two from now. My motorcycle will be paid off, I can stock some coins away for a nice down payment and the car will come down in price some. Trying not to have payments higher than 500 a month. Well just wanted to share my experience

On a side note... My insurance is the same if I got a M3 compared to my F30 lol. Weird huh haha.
