It's a beautiful color, changes with the light, stays looking clean, and gets lots of compliments.

(Full disclosure: I get blue on everything)

On the point of whether photos are representative of Yas, putting filters aside for a moment, YMB changes hue more than any other colour I've known. It reacts to light conditions and also the colours of cars around it, looks at its best next to black cars and worst next to a really bright blue like Mexico.

It can look really pale and washed out on a dull day when dirty but then at night when clean under the forecourt lights of the gas station it pops like nothing else and draws attention.

Odd colour but I forgive it its dull moments for the times it looks incredible, I've never had as many compliments on the colour of my car and mostly from women (which is nice) even though JLo didn't like it

This. Its an attention getter and I've never had so many positive comments on the color/ car. Except for the hillbilly in the truck I inadvertently pulled out in front of. He waved with an extended finger and I'm not sure it was in appreciation of the car/color.

Yup. I considered SO, but it's color character is the exact opposite. In bright sunlight it pops a brilliant orange, but in any thing else is looks more like a dark rust color. I got to see them all when I did M School and decided I had made the right choice. Still all great colors though.

It is amazing how many shades of blue you get with YMB. Here is an unfiltered iPhone X shot at the Welt!

Historically, I have always been a white / red car guy and when I saw pictures of the YMB for the first time, i was not that impressed. Then when I walked into a dealership knowing full well that is the only M4 Convertible they had, It started growing on me so fast that by the time I had finished the test drive, I was hooked on YMB / Sonoma Beige combo, which seemed even odder at first. But between that color combo and the black wheels, I feel it totally rocks! Lots of compliments from well meaning neighbors and friends!! While I am not entirely sure if they really liked it or just being the nice people that they are, I am now fully convinced I made the right color choice.
Cheers!

Nice colour combo - much more interesting than my boring black interior.

Thank you Black looks great in the YMB I am sure. I had shortlisted Alpine White / Shakir for the M4 but the vehicles I located were not exactly in good mint (auction cars mostly with multiple owners and carfax incidents) or way over priced.
For good or bad, this combo reminded me of an Aston Martin Forsted Glass / Jag French Racing Blue, which had been my initial wishlist items until as of 3 weeks ago - I had to walk away from both since the rear seats were a joke, more so in the Aston, even for my 7 year old. I pulled the trigger without a second thought and I am happy I did after I keep looking at it just
chers!

YMB is the best color on the M3/4.

Plus, if I'm spending that type of money, especially on a car meant to be sporty, you bet I'm getting the loudest and most head-turning color.

Thank you, Germanauto! You have made my day by calling it loud!!
A high decibel individual that I am, my biggest peeve was that the color wasn't 'loud enough'. Yeee haaaW!
Cheers.

I had no regrets about my Yas....
...until I saw a guy with a 2018 SO ... it blew me away at how beautiful the color was.

At this point I'm tired of the Yas...only after 10 months of ownership. It might be the perfect time to get it wrapped in purple maybe
