I think I would feel "weird" if I were at a stop light and someone saw me wearing driving gloves. Like I'm over dressed!?

That movie "The Wraith" is an inspiration to many. It has taught more than one loser that you can accomplish many life goals while wearing driving gloves. For instance, you can...

Use your shorter friend as an elbow rest.

Use the WTF look when BMW releases an ugly 666M wheel.

Use a switchblade like a pro.

Gently caress a woman's face.

Point at windshields.

There are countless other things you can accomplish in life with a good set of driving gloves. Shoot for the sky.

And... obligatory.

My buddy wears them when he drives. He has super clammy/sweaty hands and it makes for a slippery, hard to grab/grip steering wheel for him. He absolutely hates it, I feel for the guy, it's quite embarrassing for him.

Yes! I never drive without it. I've been rocking BMW's M driving gloves ever since 2002.

Nomex Alpinstars here, but only with a helmet on.... On track. Keeps the sweat off the steering wheel. Wouldn't even ponder it on the street.

I don't get the steering wheel all greasy and they feel awesome when driving. Almost like when you get the new golf glove and put it on for the first time. yeah you know what I am talking about

Considering buying them. My hands get sweaty, which is real annoying in summer when you're blasting through the Alps.

I wore fingerless driving gloves when I drove my MR2 in 1986. Then I grew up.

The newer style glove wears better...

....but I also liked the originals that I used to wear back in the early 2000's. The only problem is that the mesh didn't wear as well, and it had velcro tabs rather than the new style zipper. See photo below:

I do not like the bmw gloves as they are not a snug fit (at least for me) but do rock a similar type to these every once in a while...

I mean if Statham can do it, why not
