Have you tried a mild polish yet? Maybe even a claybar could remove it.

wax it off? check under your trunk to see where the liquid is coming from. do you park under any trees at work or home? might be sap.

Will try claybar. Definitely not sap. I tried to trace it under the trunk but couldnt. Thinking of taking it to the dealer and having it checked

You can't spot on the inside of the trunk where that's coming from? Seems like the same grease that seeps out of the doors onto the side skirts for new BMW's.

I would check between the trunk and the seal area on the side. If it happens every week could be condensation running out that channel carrying some grease or something.

When I received my car from across the country, it had a ton of gunk there. I tried a few chemicals, but eventually had to buff it off. It hasn’t returned, but it was a huge pita. I would try a mild polish.
