Its pretty much the same you just have to set and adjust the ride height.

With any build, we always like to address the suspension and ride heights to make sure that we get a wheel fitment to fit flush and a nice and clean ride height (without compromising drivability). This particular vehicle was equipped with the M Adaptive Suspension so the KW Height Adjustable Springs were an obvious choice! We wanted to take some preliminary measurements before we did the suspension install.

Front Suspension OEM Ride Height

Rear Suspension OEM Ride Height

We got the car in the air right away and got cracking on installing the new KW Height Adjustable Springs

This has been one of the most popular suspension systems we've had for the F8X platform. Install was a breeze per usual and we had the settings dialed in so we knew where the car would sit once on the ground.

Here are some measurements after we set the vehicle back on the ground.

Front Suspension with KW HAS Ride Height

Rear Suspension with KW HAS Ride Height

Next up - we addressed the rollers - Vorsteiner's new VFF-103's have been a popular choice so going with the Mystic Black option mated to a set of 265/35/19 and 305/30/19 Michelin Tires was an obvious choice.

We had always wanted to do a white car with some Mint Green Accents when we were building Black Betty and we thought that this would be our perfect chance...... Alpine White M4 with Porsche Mint Green calipers and matching seat belts. We also color matched the reflectors to give the car a cleaner look.

(Photo from previous car, but same color seat belts)

What you see below is the finished product. A Beautifully modded M4 with a spot on stance and wheel fitment.

What do you guys think? If you have any questions at all regarding any of the parts you see, please feel free to contact us by clicking HERE or Call us at 866-793-5490.

Complete Mod List
-Vorsteiner 19" VFF103 in satin black
-265/35/19 & 305/30/19 Michelin Pilot Supersport Tires
-KW Height Adjustable Springs
-TAG Motorsports Painted Reflectors
-TAG Motorsports Painted Calipers
-Mint Green Seat belts

How well do these work with passive suspension? I am getting a car already built, and it doesn't have adaptive suspension, which I kind of wanted. I figured I would do it "right" and go V3, but the price of these is very appealing. I'm sure I'll be content with the stock handling, but I really want to be able to get rid of that wheel gap, and while I plan on doing 1 or maybe 2 track days a year, I'm still at the intermediate level and don't need any crazy adjustments. Does anyone have any track experience with these?

Yes the KW Height Adjustable Springs work with Non-Adaptive and Adaptive suspension. They sound like the perfect set up for you. They ride just a little more stiff than factory in a good way. These have been the most popular suspension for us because of the great price point and the ride quality.

Do you have any photos or video of how to specifically adjust the ride height? I have not been able to find that info.

Depends on the offsets and widths.

Anyone had this installed on their non adaptive suspension and would like to chime in as for the ride quality ? The stock Non adaptive suspension already felt like it needs more damping . I assume these springs will make it more bouncy since the springs are stiffer?
