Major issues with ordering XPEL - can anyone help?
I am having major issues with ordering the right headlamp kit from XPEL. I am a DIY guy and want to do it myself.
Twice they sent me an E46 kit, even though I ordered an F80 kit. Their customer service is useless and insists they are sending me the right stuff. Can anyone help please? Does anyone know anyone at xpel who can get it resolved for me? I've got new headlamp and want to install the right product. Also, I inquired about my 2018 Volvo XC90 and the customer service is asking me questions I already answered. Are they always this bad?? See email trail below and thanks in advance for your help. |

you might want to give Nick a call, or better yet stop by his shop. he's an authorized XPel dealer/ installer and he can either get these things for you or tell you how to extract better cooperation from CS. you'll find him to be sympathetic to your DYI plan.
he did my car 18 months and I've been completely satisfied. if you decide to contact Nick PM and i'll give you my name. he drives an F80 btw. |

Their customer service sucks, and their film isn't the best. Just order from SunTek if you can.

I ordered the headlight kit less than a year ago and I was sent the right kit but when I also ordered additional PPF in Stealth, I was sent the regular film.

Tommy, shoot me a PM please! I work for XPEL Corporate and a fellow F80 owner clued me into this thread. I learned how to change brake pads via your YouTube lol!

Jww, XPEL's part number is P2112DI for the extended coverage for the rear wheel arch. My lead installer has an '18 Twilight Purple F80 as well and we both added that due to the rock chips hitting the film (both cars entirely covered).

Yikes, that is some iffy customer service. Those are obviously wrong. I wonder if someone just put the wrong cutouts in the wrong spot and they're just blindly pulling.

Okay - I should have posted an update some time ago.
I contacted the customer service and a satisfaction specialist contacted me back. They acknowledged that there was a system error and fixed it going forward. Not only did they refund my money but they also sent me a free kit for my car and my wife’s Volvo. Overall - I’m glad I brought it up and happy that Xpel stepped up!! |
