Akrapovic?

Akrapovic have started work on their systems for the M3/M4. There will be the usual choice of Slip-On (silencers) or Evolution (cat back) systems both with titanium or carbon fibre tailpipes and optional carbon fibre diffuser and high-flow downpipes too.

Sound good?

Excellent news, thanks for posting - I see full details are now up on their website:

Even better news are the optional products! DP's and rear carbon diffuser!!

This must be a premiere for Akra to present carbon pieces other than tips?

They've previously done carbon bits like heat shields for some of the Porsches, so not a first, no.

frankly I want to hear it but in my view the BMW M performance exhaust for the E92 was by far the best sounding exhaust - ok so no HP gains but so what it sounded exotic.

The E92 does sound epic with an exhaust, but from what ive heard the M4 with an Akrapovic sounds awesome in its own straight 6 turbo way. I've already pre-ordered mine, there's a sound test video on the Mulgari site http://www.mulgari.com/news/bmw-m3-m...aust-in-demand I cant stop watching it

the rumour is that the akra is the same exhaust as the m perf which is available november, i'm going that route as there will be no agro with warranty etc.

complete waste of money.
Just disconnect the connectors going to the valves on the stock exhaust,
It's a 2 minute job and sounds menacing as valves are permanently open all the time
