That is absolutely shocking - Really sorry to hear that W17NNY,

I don't understand why your dealer/BMW advised you BW 25 in the first place - You ordered at the end of March (week 13), I ordered Feb 1st (week 5) and was quoted BW 25 from the start. If it's any consolation, the 8 week difference in our order dates would have put you around BW 33 originally anyway.

I suspect the answer is in the question "Grassicks of Perth"

it might be good news though, BMW usually made fleet wide update at week 30 so you might get some newer variants of common parts.

Nothing about launch hold on my status though and my dealer still reckons mid July elivery even though I'm production week 24 , just a week behind you.

Our cars should go through the same process and timeline now so either my dealer is being cautious or yours is being optimistic!

My car is at 5050 but I'm still being told mid July. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Fear not, given that you are now status 5055 I think your dealer is just being cautious - "Under promise, over deliver"

My "Production Week" is still showing 25 however the "Expected/Possible Week" has come forward to 26! (i.e. week commencing 23rd of June).
However, given that the launch date is the 21st of June they must be anticipating either building the car prior to week 25 or a very fast delivery from factory to dealer as my "Pref Cust Handover date" is showing as the 30th of June with a "LAUNCH HOLD" flag!

I only have a hardcopy printout (at home) at the moment and have asked my dealer to email me a screen shot – Get you dealer to view the list of all the UK M4’s on order in the BMW Mainframe at status 5055 (It sorts by status) – I sat with my dealer a few weeks ago and got him to go into a few on the list (There were very few even in 1200 status at that point, the fast majority were 1100 with no scheduled production slot).

I have an estimated delivery date of end of October although the dealer says this is likely to come forward a little.

Grassicks were supposed to call me today, no phone call!!
Hopefully it will come forward again but we will wait and see.
The other good news is the new plate in September I suppose.
Did think of cancelling the car but they took and sold my E90 2 months ago so could get messy and I really want the F80.

Was it a white E90 M3 10 plate, with modified exhaust, Viper alarm and relocated OBD port? If so, I took it for a test drive shortly after Gavin took it from you. It's a nice car and I seriously thought about taking it!

That's very interesting, the one my dealer uses to check the status is a DOS based screen with BMW Mainframe written across the top left.

Mine also uses the SA3 order system shown in your screenshot, what I meant was that they specifically use the DOS BMW Mainframe to check order status. I'll ask why next time I speak to them, perhaps there is a delay between the systems?

Same here, the Personal Communication 3270 software that telnet's to the BMW IBM mainframe running MVS. I recognise the screen formats as I used that software myself.

It is 22 days tomorrow when I get to drive mine, the wait is driving me absolutely crazy.

Just had a catch-up with my dealer and he is very confident that my M4 will be built within the next week (backed up by the "LAUNCH HOLD" against my "Cust Hand Dt" in the BMW orders/status system) and is preparing for a June 21st launch date handover!!!!
