Getting my F80 tuned today!
Getting a Noelle performance tune today. I can't wait to drive this beast after it's finished. Thanks to Bavarian Rennsport Jacksonville, FL.

For $2.5K there better be a dyno report showing a miracle. On a stock motor, stock turbos and stock fueling a custom 93 full-kill tune gets you about 550WHP. That price can't include HPFP upgrades. I'm suspicious...
I would suggest a custom Paul or Cary BM3 tune and save $1500 for new fatter rear wheels and drag tires.

Topjimmy I was very skeptical too before I rode in a M2 with the tune compared to full bolt on with Paul Johnson BM3 tune. Both were fast but when I got in the M2 and he hit 170 mph on a rather short ride going up hill I was sold. Pulled like a train freight train even up top!

Tell me more...PM me please Never mind I looked it up..... they only warranty a car with a existing warranty. As in if you have an issue during the 4yr 50k warranty they assist you. If your out of warranty your on your own. Nothing said about CBC's Last edited by horsepower_and_hounds; 03-03-2021 at 07:36 PM.. |

Yes I believe so, call Ron at Noelle and he can explain it to you better than I can. What he told me was that you need 7 million cubic feet of air at the speeds or something to the degree of that in order to properly dyno the car. Ideally it needs to be in a wild tunnel so you don't damage the car or get heat soaked. And no tuner is going to have a wild tunnel dyno in the states that necessary to test abc maintain all safety parameters. Again I'm no engineer so Don't quote me which is why I say call Ron at Noelle and he can explain.
Also you can call any tuner that installs and they will tell you more specifics. Trust me I have the some amount of skepticism when they told me that, and every tuner that installed Noelle tuned said the same thing "don't even bother with with anything else, go with Noelle you will not regret it". |

FYI, I clicked the link you posted and I couldn't find any performance data for our cars. Do you know where they are? |

Yes no issues at all with tracking the car with the warranty, I did ask them this same question. Call your local installer and they will give you more specifics. My local installer was Bavarian Rennsport since I live in Jax FL, but before I took the plunge I called 4 others installers across the county that did all types off tunes and they all said they would only use Noelle. Just call around and do your DD.

Hmm smells like self promotion or you're getting paid to promote. If it's not, I'd be careful. https://f90.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1678497

I'd like to see dyno results of any tune not just this one. |
