Has anyone else here ordered a Frozen M3/M4?

I can't imagine I am the only person who has taken advantage of the Frozen line of Individual colors becoming available since being announced back in January. Has anyone else here ordered one? My M4 is in transport now. Should be about a week or so before I take delivery. Yes I know I promise to take tons of pictures once it arrives!

Yah I took the plunge. Been fascinated with this finish for years and wanted to do something different this time around. Really excited and I'm gonna love the change involved re taking care Of it. BTW I'm NOT worried about any perceivd hassles. Still deciding on products to use but I think I'm down to 1) BMW stuff or 2) Swissvax or 3) Dr. Beasley's.

5K

Btw I had a frozen silver prior to my current order- keeping up the paint is actually easier than normal paint. Lots of hand washes and microfiber towels only. Swirls are non existent practically- however biggest concern is when you take it to a car wash (hand wash only) and you have to tell them 10 times NO waxing/polishing just to be sure they get it.

Waxing/polishing will ruin the paint, so the best thing to do is to wash it yourself at home and always carry microfiber towels in the trunk for that unfortunate random bird dropping or tree sap you need to clean up

Seems like this is where the frozen paint crew is at...

I'm planning '16 M3 order in Frozen Silver. Hoping it might be part of the new priority 1 or level 1 Individual choices (I forget what it's called). Fingers crossed...

Priority 1 is what you're referring to.

But I doubt it will be. Don't know about m3/m4s but For us M6ers, the only free frozen color is white- and bronze for 3500.

Black, silver, grey, blue, red- all 5K.

(You will absolutely LOVE frozen silver. Black is my favorite, but frozen silver is a very VERY close second. My first m6 was frozen silver and I got compliments everywhere I took the car so hope you're not the bashful type!)

Driven mine through winter and salt etc. Just seal it properly (every 6 months) and you're all good.

Like others here, I have a bunch of experience with the matte paints. My C63 was Designo Magno Night matte Black and it help up perfectly. Just be sure to care for after bird droppings, rain water stains, or tree sap.
I really liked the Dr. Beasley's stuff. Washed the car regularly and the paint was flawless.

This photo was taken one year after taking delivery of the car!

Only 2K?! Thats great. I thought for sure it would be 5k. Ill be picking mine up at the Welt as well.

Given you are likely going to be driving it a ton in europe and getting it covered in bugs how do you plan to manage daily cleaning over there? Are car washes easy yo find? Im considering bringing some BMW removal, shampoo etc, but thats only assuming ill be able to find a place to park by a hose.

I think what they meant to say was that you will see spots from the water drying, just like you would on a regular paint job...

I've arranged for hand car washes at the various hotels I am staying at. Not the cheapest option - depending on the hotel they range from 50EUR to 100EUR - but, I rather be driving then spending time washing!

What I am more concerned about is up-keep once I have the car back in Toronto. I don't have the time to hand wash myself and typically have someone clean my car for me, but am wary of the products they may use on the matte paint.
