Just trying to understand...so this is a dealer update or by BM3 you mean a 3rd party app like Bimmercode?

Thanks

BM3 (Bootmod3) is a tuning company. Their software flash basically can enable/disable rev-match in any driving mode even when DSC is fully off. Just to clarify, BMW has nothing to do with this feature so if you take your car to the dealer, they won't do anything.

I hope they don't have this crap in the next gen M4. I absolutely despise it, one of the big reasons I'm always in Sport+.

Hoping they make it individually selectable instead of tied into a throttle response mode.

My 2016 F80 stopped rev matching in efficiency. I switched to sport with mdm on using M1 but to. It would not rev match. I switched to M2 which sport plus and traction control off. Guess what, it started rev matching in sport plus with DCS off. Weird. I also got the rear differential shudder when I up shifted to 3rd. Weird. First time it's ever done that. It has stopped rev matching before but it never rev matched in sport plus with DSC off.

Two years gone by, was hoping there are new options for enabling rev-matching in Sport+ aside from using BM3? Like Bimmercode and the dongle?
