Just saw this -- thank you sir! Proud to be joining the AW club. Hopefully will get some pics thrown up in few days. Weekend to-do list:
- Oil change - Run a can of intake valve cleaner through & install Mishi OCC for good measure - Put in some Akebono brake pads I did notice once the dust settled that I've got a ticking from engine bay on cold startup, different reports of this in different threads, lifter tick vs loose exhaust cam bolts vs other -- she's got about a month of factory warranty left so have an appt with my local dealer next week. It goes away after a few min and she runs great, so hopefully nothing major. Never had this with my previous F80. |

That is the same as the GTS oil pan, and it's made of magnesium? Also, since it is apparently dimensionally the same, it would appear any S55 engine could be filled with an additional 0.5L of oil to achieve whatever benefit BMW did with this CS setup...

Killing me with the pics. Weather is beautiful outside and my car is stuck in paint correction right now. Spoke with the shop yesterday and they hope to have back to me this coming Friday so we shall see! MPE and PSM type diffuser just sitting here waiting to be installed right away.
Also had one of the rings on the driver's side ICON headlight start dimming a bit. BMW replacing with a new module under warranty. |

Hello CS owners! Question please, for the F82 CS what size spacers should I go with on stock wheels/tires? I’m going to be installing an MPHAS kit on my car once it comes back from paint, and want to do spacers at same time. I’m thinking 10mm front and 5mm rear?
Thanks for any help! |

15F and 12R seems pretty standard for aggressive fitments but honestly it will depend more on your alignment settings and type of tire you are running. I see Conti DWS 6+ alot on the CS - my car came with them from the previous owner, stock size 255/35 and 285/30. Very rounded sidewalls and narrow contact patch resulting in a slightly stretched tire. When I lowered my car on KW HAS, I also fitted Ground Control camber plates and had my CS aligned to specifications, camber set to -2.5deg F, -2deg R. As I push the car to it's limit I think I will find more front camber to be necessary. I see the fast cars have -3 or more. With -2.5 camber and running the Conti's, I was able to have 20mm front spacer, 12mm rear. Now, fast forward to a week later I fitted my CS with GTS-spec Michelin Cup2, same size. They were much wider, more squared off sidewalls. I rubbed heavily on both front and rear and had to reduce my spacer size to 10mm F and 7mm R. YMMV. Last edited by csboi; 10-17-2022 at 01:09 PM.. Reason: Added more info about Cup2 setup on my car. |

Just wanted to say hi to everyone. Picked up a 1 owner M3 CS in Frozen Blue with CCB a couple weeks ago and I'm loving it. Had it out at Cars & Coffee over the weekend and got a lot of questions about whether it was wrapped or if it was actually paint

Went for a Target run tonight, I find any excuse to drive to Target. I come out to find a satin PPF-wrapped (I think) LRG CS parked next to me. Crazy!
