Was bad enough to see a G82 today with this CSL copy cat move. Bin this mod in the same pile as the eBay OLED copy lights.

Hey I'm sorry I didn't realize you asked specifically about F82 the other day. I am not sure about rear quarter sizing on F82 vs. F80, maybe someone else can chime in on that. Stumbled upon these photos and this page needs pics anyways.

In case anyone was wanting to see a pretty good angle of the 20mm (F) and 12mm (R) spacers I used to run. Camber is -2.5deg (F) and -2deg (R). May run these again if I remount the Continentals.

That is the same as the GTS oil pan, and it's made of magnesium? Also, since it is apparently dimensionally the same, it would appear any S55 engine could be filled with an additional 0.5L of oil to achieve whatever benefit BMW did with this CS setup...
I believe this modification reduces possible oil starvation in constant high G loads on track environments. My guess tho.

That's very cool do you have more info on how you did that or where it can be done?

I have yellow PPF on mine but that looks great
This is where I got mines, it will come with instructions, it's come as a kits
https://bayoptiks.com/
You do need heat gun or will take a lot of force to pops it open, for f8x is super easy in comparison to g8x. F80x is easy to get to, it located on top of the light and 3 bolts.
It super clean and I got really excited after install it's definitely a head turner when you drive, when the head light on you can still see the yellow ring, doesn't turn the hold head light yellow it just clean solid yellow ring
Looks great. Me like a lot. So this modification works with 2018 M3 CS stock headlights correct? Do you have exact part number by chance? Looked like there were two for the F80 on their site. Thank you in advance.

Guys, this should answer every single one of your yellow DRL questions. Not that I'm recommending this mod at all I am just more interested in keeping this thread on CS-specific content.

Yellow light is not for everyone, some love it and some don't
The good thing is it's so easy to put back to oem.

Hey guys, I am in the market for an M3 or M4 CS. I had a heavily modded E92 335i and 5 years ago, when our second child was on the way I picked up an F15 X5. I recently sold that and got the wife an RX450HL (her choice, would never have been mine) and I have been driving her ES 300H for the past few months and I just can't take it anymore. It's hard for me to imagine a car being more boring than this.

What I love about the CS is that it literally needs nothing from a modification standpoint and knowing myself, I would end up dropping another $5k+ if I went with a competition package. This will be my daily driver so there is a slight comfort concern but I drive about 15 miles to work so I don't spend a ton of time in the car.

I have also considered an RS5 but the lack of dual clutch is a bit of a turn off for a performance car. I am going to check this one out as it is local to me and I think I can get him down a few thousand. Clean carfax 1 owner vehicle that was leased and sold at auction.

They dropped the price $2k recently - CCBs is a win. Originally a NY car.

Looks like it was purchased in NY but titled in FL from 139 miles in. I had a chance to look at the car tonight and it’s really clean. Carbon splitter has some scrapes / damage and the front tires need replaced. I’m going to thrown him an offer pending PPI and take it from there. Seems like a solid deal!

Okay, now I'm upset...
I was going to make a strong attempt at picking this one up, as one can tell, side-skirt water level. They get the title back and it's a Certificate of Destruction..
In other words, never to be driven on U.S. roads ever again.

The exact same thing happened with this 2017 M6 with ONLY 7,000 miles: https://www.copart.com/lot/62670672/...fl-miami-south
Water level hardly at floor level, not to mention it ran. Went for absurdly cheap. Great for parts, sure, but a waste of a car that can still run flawlessly (my previous flood-recovery CLS 63 AMG is a testament)

Now I'm stuck contemplating if I should still go for it, store it, and eventually ship it out to Europe when I move back.
