would you buy this?
2015 M4 Black on black, stick shift, ceramic carbon brake, LED lights, no sunroof,50K miles, nav, standard radio(no HK)3 owners.
car is pretty basic except CCB. carfax clean except bumper was replaced. something fell from a truck and damaged front bumper. for $35K. is this good deal? only issue is if I buy it I'll be the 4th owner and it's going to be very tough to sell after me. Aside from the usual Carfax, I would do a PPI.
3 owners might point to an issue with the car, especially with the low mileage. The price is attractive, but know that these cars are not cheap to maintain properly. CCB is fine if you want it but know that a replacement is upwards of $5k or more |

Not for a 2015. For a 2016... maybe.
For reference I got my 1 owner 2017 M3 ZCP with 38.5k miles for $39.5k in February... And that was from Vroom the online dealer. Bone stock, but don't think carbon ceramics should add that much. |

Very impressive deal you got there, It’s not February anymore some things have changed since then😉. It’s cool to come on here and brag about your great deal but those deals aren’t out there right now. Three owners doesn’t mean it’s a bad car, The price is not bad in this market either so it’s worth having a PPI done if you like the color and options. If you really want to buy right now you may have to make a few sacrifices. |

Check Carfax, get PPI. Would check the CCBs since it's pretty pricey to replace.

Maybe its just me, but I’m noticing that pricing has crept up. Inventory is low, and non ZCP 2017s are in the 45-48K range. 2017 ZCPs are >50-55+ and 2018 ZCPs are mid 55-60s again.
I just got the tail end of the pricing weakness. Lucky I guess. |

Found out that carbon ceramic rotors cost 3.5k to 4k each!
But they are suppose to last 100k miles atleast. Other option is Brembo+ steel rotor + booster(brake master cylinder) option. I just keep looking. Last edited by sunny; 08-14-2020 at 11:33 AM.. |

Lol just replace the ccb with brembos or steel rotors/disc when it's time. Everyone has different pockets, doesn't hurt getting PPI done for a car for the right price. It's a 5 yr old car, having 3 previous owners isn't thaaat much of a big deal.
