Was driving by the dealer today and spotted it. Had to stop and take a quick look even though they are closed. Aftermarket rear wing mounts on it.

Yes. Those are vorsteiner risers. I had them on my previous GTS. Raises the spoiler to 9 inches, if I remember correctly. Can get them from AliExpress for $200 shipped. Ha!

Ya, if I hadn't bought mine I would've gone after this one. Supply really drying up.

Met with my buddy over the weekend who has a GT3 Touring and he had never seen a GTS in person. He was geeking out over all the details. Told me there were 700 Tourings in the country and values were already looking good. He asked how many GTS, I told him less than 400 (assuming some have been crashed, exported etc.). He said this thing is gonna appreciate, it's too special. We'll see, but hopefully he's right

I would say grab what you can now, I suspect at some point people will realize how unique and special these cars are, a true factory built hot rod. Half the BMW owners out there have no idea these even exist. Just my 2 cents.

Very true. Both the E46 M3 CSL and M3 Gts sat unsold in dealerships. People made fun of their MSRP. Try to get one now...

Europe is different than here in the states... plus, neither of those 2 were available here 😏

I agree that the car will appreciate over time, I don't think it'll be anything like e92 gts or a e46 csl. Back then, there weren't CS models and 300 other "similar" to gts. In the end, just a m4 with some steroids.. my 2 cents.

And the E36 M3 lightweight.

M3 CRT was a ripoff as well.

We've been through this before. GTS will not hold a unique place in M history as the only model of its type to be unappreciated and undesirable over time.

And that's setting aside the fact that M is trending more toward fashion and the gram than beautifully wicked drivers cars these days.

Damn, only 5 left. When I bought mine last month there were ~20.

I think for the US market this is the most special M car ever offered so that will help values over time. That being said, it's a really fun car to drive so just enjoy it and don't stress over this stuff imo. I just spent 3 hours blatting around town and dropping by some meets etc, people love this car and so do I.

Illinois, going to be delivery only soon enough. Got a great deal on my first M3 out of chicago this time of year.

Their pics are dreary, dulled all of the orange. Should use your around town pics instead.

I am very interested to see where prices are in a year or two. Especially if Europeans start bringing them over, as you only need a CoC and to pay 20% VAT. Process is not that difficult.

Just checked the prices once more in Germany and France. Prices are up again, now between $150,000 and $260,000.
It is bound to happen...
It would be sweet revenge for Europe who did not get their share to start with...
France (80 million people) only got 13 !?!
